About Us

The history of Berkshire dates back to 1988 with the formation of Berkshire Acquisition Corporation, followed by the First Berkshire Business Trust. The company's focus then is the same as today, that being the identification and acquisition of high quality retail, industrial and office properties with a focus on long term leases to financially sound tenants. Additionally the fund invests in ground lease properties.

As a private, discretionary fund the details of our investments as well as the proprietary investment structures used are kept confidential.

Whle historically focused on North American investments, the fund has recently established a European and Asian allocation. The primary focus for our international investment is in core retail and industrial properties with net leases and limited investor management requirements.
